Annex Katsutaro Ryokan
Old-fashioned Yanaka neighborhood, home to many temples and the Yanaka Ginza shopping street, is part of what makes a stay here special. It's also within a 20-minute walk from Ueno Park with its many museums, and the Keisei Skyliner from Narita Airport stops at nearby Nippori Station. Though the inn itself is a three-story concrete building, it manages to convey a sense of place with its spotless Japanese-style tatami rooms and a complimentary map that introduces the area and how to navigate it. It's the sister inn of nearby Katsutaro Ryokan, which is older and slightly cheaper but isn't nearly as nice.
