This landmark 1892 building is one of Canada's premier music venues. Its 2,753 seats are not the most comfortable in town, but the flawless acoustics will make you stop squirming. It has hosted now-legendary concerts from the likes of Charlie Parker and Neil Young, and its programming runs the gamut from classical to pop to rock to jazz. Recent visitors have included Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Jimmy Cliff, and Pat Metheny. Each year, Gordon Lightfoot plays a string of concerts here. This is also a popular stop for lectures.
