It may not quite be the mainstay of the local music scene it once was, but Riv’s Back Room now hosts an eclectic mix of performances, including roots, rock, jazz, comedy, and poetry reading. Tori Amos and Norah Jones made their Toronto debuts here, and Toronto comedy legends the Kids in the Hall also got their start here. Shows begin at 8pm and continue until 2am. Upstairs is a comfortable billiards room and bar.
