The Cimon
Set in an 1850’s detached Victorian building, The Cimon features a large patio garden, a children’s playroom and a 30-foot outdoor swimming pool. Located in the heart of Torquay, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking.
All rooms are equipped with their own bathroom facilities, a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms have panoramic south-facing sea views across the whole of Torbay and are also equipped with a DVD player and a small fridge.
The Cimon also features a spacious licensed bar with a wide range of drinks, including local ales and cider, hand-picked wine and single malt whiskeys. There is also a south-facing dining room overlooking the sun terrace & pool area. The owners both speak fluent German.
The hotel is less than half a mile from Torquay’s sandy beaches and less than a mile from Torquay Rail Station. Agatha Christie used to reside in the town and the hotel is just an 8-minute walk from the Agatha Christie Mile, the location for a tour of her life and work.
