Planning a trip to Trakoscan

Visitor Information -- Information, maps, and lists of events in this region can be obtained at the Varaždin County Tourist Association (www.turizam-vzz.hr; tel. 042/210-096).

Getting There -- There are no direct public buses from Zagreb to Trakoščan. However, even if you don’t have your own transport, you can access Trakoščan by taking a bus to Varaždin and backtracking to Trakoščan.

Getting Around -- As with most sites in Croatia, walking is the method of choice here.
