Check with Continental Airlines (tel. 800/231-0856in the U.S. and Canada; www.continental.com) for routings from other cities such as Washington, D.C., and Houston.

In addition, Air Canada (tel. 888/247-2262 in the U.S. and Canada, or 868/669-4065; www.aircanada.ca) flies Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday nonstop from Toronto to Trinidad, and British Airways (tel. 800/247-9297 in the U.S. and Canada; www.britishairways.com) has three flights a week (Wed, Thurs, and Sat), leaving year-round from London's Gatwick Airport.

Trinidad is the transfer point for many passengers to Tobago.
