Arriving — Troyes is a 2-hr. drive southeast from Paris on the A104, then A105 and A5/E54 autoroutes. It’s most easily reached by train, with departures out of Paris’s Gare de l’Est nearly every hour (trip time: 1.5 hr.). Unfortunately, from Reims and Epernay you must go back through Paris. For information, visit www.oui.sncf or call tel. 36-35 (.40€/min.). For information on bus service linking Troyes to other towns in Champagne, visit www.vitici.fr. A direct bus to Reims several times a day (trip time: 2 hr.) is much quicker than getting the train.

Visitor Information — The Maison de Tourisme is situated in a beautiful half-timbered building at 16 rue Aristide-Briand (www.tourisme-troyes.com; tel. 03-25-82-62-70; closed Sun Nov–Easter).
