In the shady depths of Madera Canyon, this lodge primarily hosts bird-watchers and hikers. The rooms are not as nice as those at the Chuparosa Inn (above), but the birding is as good as it gets. The simply furnished rooms and cabins are large and comfortable, and all have kitchenettes where you can do a bit of cooking. The nearest restaurants are 13 miles away, so bring food for your stay.
