You can park your car for the length of your stay at this modest hideaway a five-minute walk from town. If you’re traveling with a group, the two-story, three-bedroom beach house is ideal. The lower level has a kitchen and private bath; the upper consists of a large dorm-style room for four with a separate entrance and bathroom outside the building. You can rent it all or just one floor. The cabaña on the sand with refrigerator and private bath is perfect for two, and the two-story cabaña across the sandy road sleeps four. There’s also camping available on the jungle-like grounds. Electricity is available during certain hours, as is Wi-Fi at the main house, but there’s no A/C. Restaurants and stores are a quick walk away, and Serenidad’s cheerful owner can set up tours and offer suggestions for wandering about.
