The Turks & Caicos is no glitzy party scene like St. Maarten; the vibe is more of a 24-hour superchill that rolls on and on, through the sun-dappled days into the starry nights. Here are some places to celebrate:

Blue Hills beach bars: From Da Conch Shack (www.daconchshack.com) to Bugaloo's (http://bugaloostci.com) to the newest hot spot, Omar's Beach Hut, in Five Cays (www.facebook.com/omarsbeachhut), the Blue Hills beach-shack scene is all about island drinks and eats with your toes in the sand, accompanied by island music and briny sea breezes.

The Island Fish Fry: The outdoor Thursday-night fish fry has a party vibe that gets going with live junkanoo, rake 'n' scrape, and ripsaw music, not to mention cold beer and rum punches (Bight Park, Grace Bay, Providenciales; Thurs 5:30–9:30pm).

A little gambling: Casablanca Casino (Grace Bay Rd., Providenciales; http://thecasablancacasino.com) is (currently) the island's lone casino, but it's a late-night hang, open to 4am with a menu of roulette, blackjack, craps, and baccarat.

Sunset perches: Any place along Grace Bay is good for a sunset toast, but the Grace Bay Club's Infiniti Bar/The Lounge are two of the best sunset bars on the beach. The Lounge has big pillowed loungers and fire pits while the Infiniti Bar is a long black stone bar studded with blue lights (https://gracebayresorts.com).
