Constellation Carousel
Constellation Carousel and its New Age-y musical score lie at the heart of Celestial Park, and testifies to the simple pleasures that this area aims to supply. This is a traditional merry-go-round with amplitude: It's one of the only carousels you'll ride on which the creatures soar so high (in honesty, not too high) that you'll need a seat belt for safety. The animal you're riding might rotate (nothing that'll make you sick) and it might even go into reverse. There are 7 possible songs, each with their own set of moves, but you won't know which one you get until the ride begins. The ride is under 2 minutes long and the motions are otherwise exactly as vanilla you'd expect of a carousel; some of the creatures you'll ride are on rotating disks to double the swirling action, some aren't.
Even the smallest animals can seat 2 (little companions can ride on the front part of the saddle between the back rider's legs), and the sleigh seating, which (unlike on most carousels) will ascend as well, accommodates 3. If you don't feel like riding, or if you want to linger in the shade afterward, there's plenty of sheltered space on the periphery for observation. As a bonus, there's rarely a long wait for this ride.
