Viking Training Camp

Little Vikings can let off some steam and do some exploring of their own in this large and cheerful interactive children's playground, located to the left after you enter Isle of Berk. Universal doesn't prescribe an age maximum; we'd estimate early elementary school or younger for most kids, but you can decide: Would your young one like climbable towers, slides, obstacles like net bridges and barrel roll balance beams, spyglasses, drums and gongs, a little dragon-themed merry-go-round and a Toothless-themed teeter-totter? It's a big area to explore, and on its upper levels, there's a killer view of Isle of Berk.

Everything is very cleverly designed, but the cleverest things may be that 1) there's shade, 2) the entrance is narrow and easy to keep an eye on, and 3) Universal actually thought to include some bathrooms inside it so parents won't have to roam far. (If you're looking for the football-related Viking Training Camp, that's in Minnesota.)
