How to Train Your Dragon—Isle of Berk
While Harry Potter's land is the most thronged with visitors, if you ask repeat guests which Epic Universe world they prefer the most, you're most likely hear them tell you it's How to Train Your Dragon. This world's three rides, live show, soothing lagoon, and delectable treats are a big reason why. But it's the stupendous art direction—everything is perfectly custom-crafted to the franchise's whimsical, Viking-tinged theme—that endears this area to many hearts. As charming as it is by day, the theatrical lighting and fire effects make it a must-see after dark. (In the mornings, the rising sunlight is not in your favor for photos in this land, anyway.)
There's an inviting sense of place at Isle of Berk. Cheerful animatronic dragons pop out of the buildings' eaves, hand-carved dragons appear everywhere, and even the benches and the beer taps are custom-made. The entrances to the attractions cluster near the back: Dragon Racer's Rally is the flying contraption, Fyre Drill is the slow-moving but drenching water ride, and Hiccup's Wing Gliders is the highly rated family coaster that makes a swooping circuit around the whole land.

The Untrainable Dragon, the live indoor show found in back and to the right, packs considerable stagecraft into its 18-minute running time, and although the waiting area is outdoors but sheltered, the show itself provides a good opportunity to sit down and recharge in the AC. Showtimes are posted on the app and in front of the theatre.
Of the food, the meaty menu at Mead Hall, the sole indoor restaurant in the land, is a crowdpleaser, but the indulgent mac and cheese cones at Hooligan's Grog & Gruel and Spit Fyre Grill are also viral favorites online.
