Das Stakehaus
The gag in this quick-service restaurant might make actually make some people gag. Or at least pretend to—the fake gross-outs here are the ultimate in delightfully silly theme park goofs, so much so that in its first month of operation, Saturday Night Live spoofed it. The gag in this extremely dark, extremely well-themed hidey hole is that you're having a meal in a vampire hangout, so all the food, while actually perfectly normal, masquerades as something bloodcurdling.
To eat, open Mobile Order on the park's app and scan the QR code on your chosen table—the staff, always in character, will ferry your food to you. The burger buns are colored black, the meats listed as "Staked" are actually just skewered, the "blood" orange chicken is truly from blood orange, and the coffin-shaped Red Velvet Death cake is actually just beet-colored cake with chocolate crumbs and simple puffed rice pretending to be wriggling maggots. It's all lots of fun even if the flavors aren't as trenchant as the visuals. Try the Reapers Reserve beer, which is made with cinnamon and clove for that extra Gothic flair. Das Stakehaus is probably the most intricately designed theme park restaurant you're likely to visit—it'll knock you undead.
