Vivo Italian Kitchen

When this contemporary open-kitchen restaurant opened, it touted house-made pasta (from the classics to modern inventions such as fiocchetti stuffed with Gorgonzola and pear), fresh mozzarella, braised short ribs, and cured meats. But such high ideals are perhaps too lofty to maintain in a tourist mill like Orlando, and although a dinner here isn’t regrettable, it’s not as delicate as it was before. Still, its prices have held in the moderate zone, so it remains a fair choice if everywhere else is full.
