By Car -- The two main routes to Uxmal from Mérida are described in "En Route to Uxmal," above. Note: There's no gasoline at Uxmal.
By Bus -- To return, wait for the bus on the highway at the entrance to the ruins. To see the sound-and-light show, sign up with a tour operator from Mérida.
