Colorado Ski Museum—Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame
This museum is dedicated to the history of the sport most associated with Colorado, as well as honoring snowsports greats past and present. From the inaugural 1977 class with Carl Howelsen (the godfather of Colorado skiing) to recent inductees like Jake Burton and Jeremy Bloom, the Hall of Fame is a who's who of athletes, gear-makers, resort owners, and others. Museum exhibits run the gamut from the history of Vail to the “Colorado Snowboard Archive,” showing the evolution of the gear. Allow 1 hour.
