Halibut House
The halibut is caught locally, batter-fried, and decadently delicious at Halibut House. Earnest, local highschoolers work the counter at this no-frills, fish-and-chips shack with a well-stocked, do-it-yourself condiment bar. You can order a full basket loaded four with generous pieces of fish and a crispy gaggle of fries but the half order will be filling enough for most. This is a good breakfast spot, too, but sadly, there’s no fish on the morning menu.
