What are you hungry for? Satay with dipping sauce? Spaghetti and meatballs? A nice big steak? A niçoise salad? Or how about a platter that has a bit of everything on it? glowbal, is, of course, another glowbal restaurant, this one in Yaletown, where it began life in 2002 as a then-trendy satay house. In 2009 it rebranded as a steak house, and now it seems to be a little bit of everything. No matter: It’s still a fun place to hang out and meet new people, especially on the lively patio on summer nights. Inside, there are luxe gold-toned leather booths, dramatic gold-colored cylindrical light fixtures, and a big glass case where the steaks are aging. glowbal also has a great weekend brunch.
