This welcoming bàcari offers some of the freshest snacks in the city, washed down with quality wines, spritz, and Prosecco (3€ –5.50€). The thing to order is the delicious board of cheese and cold cuts, all sourced from the region and enhanced with fresh fruits, fig jam, local bread, and a small pot of roasted potatoes. The extensive wine list includes natural/organic options as well as some of the best cellars from Italy. It’s a small place, so reservations are recommended if you want a table (there are also a handful of barstools). Mouth-watering cicchetti include anchovies with mountain butter, fried zucchini flowers, polpette (meatballs), crostini, fried artichokes and excellent cod (tris di baccalà).
