Pop star Gloria Estefan and her producer husband Emilio own this fabulous hotel, which means that “chic” is an understatement here. Each spacious guest room features custom teak furniture, bathrooms with tumbled limestone-tile showers with dual shower heads, and beds with buttery-soft Egyptian cotton linens. Although there’s beach access, we love the infinity-edge pool, thanks partially to its poolside cabana bar, a great spot for meals, as is the sleek Wave Kitchen & Bar (modern Cuban cuisine with recipes out of the couple’s “Estefan Kitchen Cookbook”). The $38 resort fee includes valet parking, welcome cocktails, and use of beach cruiser bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, and boogie boards.
