Pagliacci’s
Pag’s has been around forever, and still serves up all the homey, southern Italian dishes with punny names that made it so popular back in 1979 when it was first opened by New York ex-pat Howie Siegal. In a terracotta-colored room, cluttered with black-and-white photos and tables all jammed together, enjoy “Ravioli Paradiso” (spinach-and-ricotta ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes and gorgonzola cream sauce) or a “Salmon Enchanted Evening” dinner salad. Loud, lively, and fun, with eclectic live music, which ranges from klezmer to jazz, nightly Sundays to Wednesdays. Good value, and great for kids.
