For over a decade this pub has served fine Viennese beers, ciders, and loud music, with the sporadic public sports viewing and theme night. With its proximity to various university buildings, it attracts plenty of students, but has managed to maintain its appeal to an over-25 clientele by constantly improving. They have very popular karaoke on Mondays. It also has added a dining room above the pub that serves gastro-pub-style grub, with local ingredients, as well as Irish and Greek dishes. It's a great opportunity to fill your stomach before venturing below to participate in its legendary pub quiz, which as in most pubs in Vienna is English-language. The staff are polite and jolly, mostly bi-lingual, and keep the crowd happy with reasonably priced beer (€4–€5.40) and perhaps the best selection of wines of any pub in Vienna. Prost!
