Located in the bucolic heart of Vieques, these two separate restaurants, run by the same owner and management team, share a lot backed by tropical jungle. They also boast the same rustic chic vibe, great music, and inventive cuisine, which uses fresh herbs and produce grown on site. Tin Box specializes in upscale BBQ and raw bar specialties; the smoked chicken and ribs are primo as is the velvety rich mac [‘]n cheese and jicama salad. Noche is more upscale and has the best filet mignon on the island as well as a superb seafood stew. Both restaurants are small so reservations are a good idea; either dining room is a fine bet.
