Getting There -- Buses JAC (tel. 45/411447) leaves Villarrica every half-hour for Pucón from its location at Bilbao 610, near Pedro de Valdivia. In Pucón, JAC's location is Uruguay 505, near the hospital. The fare is $1.50 (£1). A taxi to or from Pucón costs about $10 (£6.70).

Visitor Information -- A good tourism office can be found at Av. Pedro de Valdivia 1070 (tel. 45/206619). It's open daily from 8:30am to 11pm December 15 through March 15, and daily from 8:30am to 6:30pm the rest of the year; it often closes on winter afternoons when the weather is rotten.
