Dunavska Golubica
With a lovely terrace overlooking the River Danube, this waterside restaurant is much loved by locals and is a popular venue for wedding celebrations (watch out for Saturdays, which can get a little rowdy). The house specialty is Mesna Plata Golubica, a meat platter consisting of pork fillet, chicken breast, bacon, and sausages, served with oven-roasted peppers and potatoes. The house also does a generous fish platter, which combines fried carp, catfish, and grilled trout, and comes with Swiss chard and potatoes. The results are tasty and authentic.
