Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World

Tomorrowland is lighter on character appearances than other lands, but with the arrival of Tron Lightcycle Power Run, it generates more excitement than it has since Space Mountain debuted in 1975. Things aren’t all rosy in the land, however: the unpopular Stitch’s Great Escape attraction was permanently axed in 2020 and its space remains mostly derelict. Tomorrowland’s railroad stop also shuttered for several years for the construction of Tron Lightcycle Power Run.

To the right of Space Mountain, you’ll see a one-level bathroom structure that looks like it ought to contain something interesting. It once did: The Skyway, a gondola ride over the park, loaded here until 1999 (and unloaded in Fantasyland beside “it’s a small world”). There are quiet places for sitting around it.
