The charming 14-room Woodley Park B&B offers clean, comfortable, and cozy lodging, inexpensive rates, a super location, and a personable staff. The innkeepers own the Embassy Circle Guest House as well, and the same graciously welcoming ambience prevails. Special features of this 1906 guesthouse include a wicker-furnished, tree-shaded front porch; exposed, century-old brick walls; and beautiful antiques and original art. (The innkeepers buy works only from artists who have stayed at the house.) Rooms are of every possible configuration: three are singles; two have full beds; five have queen beds; two have king beds; and two rooms come with two beds, one of which can accommodate three people (you pay $50 extra for the third person). The guesthouse benefits from its across-the-street proximity to the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, where airport shuttles and taxis are on hand. The Woodley Park-Zoo Metro stop, good restaurants, Rock Creek Park, and the National Zoo are all within a very short walk.
