This stylish, window-fronted dining room is a wash of creamy white punctuated with colorful tiles and artwork. But the food is anything but vanilla. Many of the 40 items on the menu are spicy, like the ground duck and duck liver salad prepared with chilies and toasted rice powder and shallots. If you’re afraid of searing your tongue, you might try the caramelized pork ribs or the grilled chicken-thigh skewers. (The menu changes frequently, FYI.) Start off or end your meal with a drink at the downstairs bar, 2 Birds, 1 Stone; its cocktail menu usually lists a “punch du jour” and a Dark and Stormy made with housemade ginger beer.
