In business since 1971, Foundry is non-profit and artist-owned and –operated. It features the pieces of local artists, who work in various media and styles, from abstract painting on silk to mixed-media collages. The gallery moved in summer 2015 from the Dupont Circle neighborhood to the U &14th Street Quarter.
