Welgevonden Reserve has four landing strips. Your lodge will arrange the 1-hour charter from Johannesburg airport, or make the 2 1/2-hour journey by car to the Welgevonden's main entrance (if you are self-driving, park at the entrance gate and wait for your lodge to collect you; ask for the lodge to fax or e-mail a map).
