Getting There -- From the north, take exit 42 off the New York State Thruway (I-90); from the south, take Route 17 (I-86) to Route 14 North.

Visitor Information -- The Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center is at 100 N. Franklin St. (at First St.) in Watkins Glen (tel. 800/607-4552; www.watkinsglenchamber.com). It's open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
