A surprisingly engrossing little museum the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center showcases BC's neighboring Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations peoples through exhibitions of carvings, canoes, and other artifacts, as well as hourly live performances of dance and music, and demonstrations of traditional crafts. Inside the handsome three-story, Douglas-fir-and-glass building is a cafe serving traditional Aboriginal cuisine, including venison stew, bannock bread, and smoked salmon.
