The emphasis of this Native-owned firm is on the indigenous culture and natural history of the Sound, while also showing off the area's glaciers and wildlife. Cruises last 4 or 6 hours. The shorter cruises go to Blackstone Bay only, where crew members gather plankton for guests to observe through microscopes; the 6-hour trip travels to the more impressive Surprise Glacier and includes Esther Passage and a stop at a salmon hatchery. Interpretation is by captain and crew, and a meal of crab cakes is included in the price.
