Gukhyangsa
Although it's a small temple, its view of the forests nearby attracts many visitors. The location of the "festival of defense of the fatherland," it was the place where the second daughter of Joseon King Jeongjong, Princess Huihui, recovered from a seemingly incurable lung disease. At the suggestion of the doctors, she was sent to recover in Chiaksan. The princess began a 100-day prayer, during which she dreamed about an old man with long white hair who told her that he would cure her. She continued to pray and at the end of the days she was cured. As a token of appreciation, the king had the temple built.
