Planning a trip to Worms
For tourist information, go to the Verkehrsverein, Neumarkt 14 (tel. 06241/25045; www.worms.de). It's open year-round Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm; from April to October, it's also open Saturday 9:30am to 1:30pm.
Getting Around
A network of cream-colored buses traverses most neighborhoods of the town and its suburbs. The city's main junction point is the Hauptbahnhof. Buses run 6am to midnight and charge 2.50€ and 4€ depending on how far you go, paid directly to the driver.

By Plane
The nearest airport is at Frankfurt, 69km (43 miles) away. From Frankfurt, you can drive to Worms in a rented car. Take A5 south to A3 west to A65 south.
By Train
Worms enjoys good rail connections to major German cities. It lies on the main Mainz-Mannheim line. At Mannheim, one train per hour runs south in to Speyer (trip time: 30 min.). For rail information and schedules, call tel. 01805/996633 (www.bahn.de).
By Bus
Regional bus service for the area is provided by BRN Busverkehr Rhein-Neckar GmbH (tel. 06241/207312; www.brn.de) in Worms.
By Car
From Mainz, continue south along Route 9.
