Ellenwood Provincial Park
About the same distance from town as Lake Breeze, but along Route 340, this charming Provincial Park and campground is set between two lakes on a 114-hectare (280-acre) wooded site. Walking trails lead through mature hardwood. Onsite are a playground, and a supervised beach, making it a top pick for families. If you’re towing a boat, you can launch it in the sizeable lake and try some fishing. The campground is closed in winter, but visitors are welcome to hike and ski here any time.
