Lake Breeze Campground and Cottages
Fifteen kilometers (9.3 miles) west of town on Route 1 is this little, privately run spot with an appealingly low-key character. It sits right on the shores of tiny Lake Darling for easy access to the water. Boat rentals are available. Five cottages on site are relatively small, but fully equipped. Though a little close to the main house, the cottages do share a large backyard and front lawn. Everything is well tended by the owners, and it’s blessedly quiet at night.
