Planning a trip to Yoho National Park

The service center for Yoho National Park is the little town of Field, with a half-dozen modest accommodations and a few casual restaurants. The park's visitor center is just off Hwy. 1 near the entrance to town. For advance information, contact Yoho National Park (tel. 250/343-6324; www.pc.gc.ca).

The daily entrance fee is C$9.80 adults, C$8.30 seniors, C$4.90 youths 6 to 16, or C$20 families per day. The pass is good for entry at all of the four contiguous Rocky Mountain national parks.
