Brownie’s Café

Brownie’s has been around forever—at least it’s said to be Yuma’s oldest restaurant, and it’s a beloved breakfast and lunch venue for locals. The food is classic diner fare, from chicken-fried steak to omelets and pancakes, but with twists like homemade sausage and red Jell-O for dessert. It’s a delicious blast from the past. If you want a taste of the real Arizona of ranchers, river rats, and prospectors, this is the place. I stop here nearly every time I’m in Yuma, and it’s always a treat.
