Overlooking the main square, Hotel Dubrovnik occupies two adjoining buildings, one from 1929 and the other from 1982 (with a slightly garish glass and aluminum façade). Although marketed primarily for business travelers, the hotel’s central location makes it a fine choice for tourists, too. The renovation started in 2011 and completed in summer, 2014, has made for fewer rooms than before, but they are more spacious, modern, and luxurious, and come with slick new bathrooms. Facilities include the Dubrovnik Café, with its Art Deco interior, a popular meeting place for hotel guests and non-guests alike.
