The "Weavers’ Guildhall" is without doubt one of the most stylish restaurants in town. Inside a 17th-century hall near the river, its series of wood-paneled Biedermeier-style dining rooms make an intimate, candlelit spot for dining on top-notch local specialties, which are enhanced by the exemplary service. The menu may include Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (sliced veal in a mushroom cream sauce) with crisp rösti (potato cakes); and fried fillets of lake perch, served with almond butter. Reservations are a very good idea.
