Denali Jeep Tours -??

by /bio/outsideplaying »

Are the Denali Jeep tours worth it? We will be spending at least 2 full days at Denali and plan to do some Ranger-guided hikes, but want to see and take photographs in as much of the park as possible. We are 2 very active seniors (I run half-marathons and we both workout heavily and hike frequently). We will be there at the end of May and don't want to spend a lot of time on a bus, but will do whatever we need to do or is recommended. Thank you!

I don't think they're necessary. Just sign up for the ranger led hikes (they fill up so do so early in the day). They're terrific, usually capped at about 8 people and will take you into parts of the park you'd never see otherwise.
