In Response to Re: Transportation between Casablanca airport and Rabat Hotel:[QUOTE]
Sallam 'lekum fhoward416,
Trains run hourly between Casa's Mohammed V Airport and Casa Port station (via Casa Voayageurs station, no change required) from 5:55am to 9:55pm, with a further two services at 11:55pm and 3:55am. Trains depart at least hourly for Rabat from either of Casa Port or Casa Voyageurs. The schedules can be viewed on www.oncf.ma (Casa airport is listed as "Aeroport Med V"), where you'll see that the current 2nd class fare is 80dh and the 1st class fare (nicer seats, but not much difference other than being less crowded sometimes) is 133dh. The train station at Casa Airport is well-signposted ("Le Gare"). From either Rabat Agdal or Rabat Ville stations (depending on where your hotel is located...there are a number of hotels within walking distance of both), you can catch a petite taxi from outside the station...a fare to a nearby hotel shouldn't cost more than 10dh-15dh.
Grands taxis are located outside the T1 buidling at Casa's airport, and they can be hired for the journey to Rabat (up to 6 passengers). There is a signpost located at the rank that advises the current fares, though the drivers often try to re-advise you that these prices are "out of date"...which they're not. Good luck!
A private transfer is best organised with your Rabat hotel, so that the driver will (presumably) know the location of your hotel...which isn't always a given with private transfers.
Hope this helps and happy travels,

Many thanks to you for the time expended and the information povided concerning transportation between Casablanca and Rabat. From what I read the train travels from Casablanca stopping at Casa Voayageurs station, then Casa Port station and then on to Rabat with no change of trains needed or any other intermediate stops, Correct? Our object hotel in Rabat is the Le Diwan at Place De L'Unite Africaine. Do you know if Rabat Agdal or Rabat Ville is the better arrival choice? Also, assuming a scarcity of written and oral English how does one identify an arrival station? Again thank you for your input.
