Minsk and beyond

by /bio/kertu »

I visited Minsk two years ago. While Belarus is not the most inviting destination in Europe, I actually had a great time. Lots of museums and a definite local atmpshere.

My question is, are there other interesting sites in Belarus outside the capital ?

Perhaps, something about military history, or older buildings ?

I have also been to Belarus quite recently and would agree that it is not the most inviting country. When traveling there we did some sightseeing according to this military-patriotic route you might find that useful too. I have to say fortress in Brest was pretty impressive.
