Cook Islands: Rarotonga or Aitutaki?
I'm considering heading to the Cook Islands next year and I'm not sure which island is more appealing. My research shows that Rarotonga is more budget-friendly but Aitutaki's lagoon is very appealing.
Does anyone here have experience on both islands?
In short, I know I can probably get the vacation I want on both, but I am looking for beach time, snorkeling, cultural experiences, maybe other outdoor activies like paddle boarding. I tend to travel on a budget (so definitely am not looking for a luxurious vacation).
Looking forward to the relaxation already!
