Seeking feedback on itinerary: Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia

by cashjohnny »

Hello! We are a well traveled family of four, including two daughters ages 7 and 12. We are planning our summer vacation and have the following rough itinerary, which I would love your input on.

Arrive in Split on a Saturday in June (Day 1). Then, on Sunday take the ferry to Hvar for days 2 and 3.

Next take the ferry to Korcula for days 4, 5 and 6.

From there, take a ferry to Dubrovnik for days 7 and 8.

Next, take a bus, taxi, or private transfer to Kotor for days 9, 10 and 11.

From Kotor, continue to Mostar, also by bus or taxi or private transfer, for days 12 and 13.

Then on to Sarajevo by bus or private transfer for days 14 and 15.

Fly home from Sarajevo on day 16.

I would love thoughts on this proposed itinerary, in particular regarding the viability of connections, time in each location, and any other insights you might have.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

If you are planning to visit Croatia, plan your trip ahead with this website. It will help you to find out what to visit, where to eat, where to sleep, tips to save money... This is the best Croatian travel website.   Croatia is very cheap, pizza for £5.00! I recommend for you to visit Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Split, Zadar, Pula... Things to do in Dubrovnik Croatia has many great places but this are some of them.   By!
