Larger hotel room in Paris for 4 nights

by /bio/fergie-2013 »

My husband & I will be in Paris for 2 weeks and renting an apartment. However, the apartment we usually rent is not available for 4 of the nights, so we need to go to a hotel those nights. We have stayed in many hotels previously, and the rooms are terribly small. We even have a wonderful friend who manages a hotel, but we don't want to spend 4 days in a teeny tiny room (even though we wouldn't be in it all day/night), and hope to find one with a bathtub. It doesn't matter where it's located. Our apartment we rent is in the 14th, and our friend's hotel is in the 9th. Thanks. Mary

P.S. Of course we don't want to spend a fortune. I found the Novotel Suites, but read a review that you had to walk under the train station to get to anywhere. This wouldn't work as I like to get up each morning and walk to a patisserie to get a croissant if my husband doesn't want to have the hotel's breakfast.

I forgot to mention that the dates are in the beginning of November. Thanks!

Oops, the apartment we stay in is in the 15th, not 14th. I guess it would be nice to check out of the apartment to a nearby hotel, and then go back to the apartment, but if not possible, that's okay too. There must be a nice hotel in the 15th that has a tub, and larger rooms that's not exhorbitant prices? Thx.

Hotel rooms in Paris are generally tiny.  I don't personally know of any that aren't, although I'm sure they exist.  But for anyone who might know, it would help to know what is less than a "fortune" for you.  For some people it's 100 euros, for others it's 400.

200 euros or less would be reasonable. I did find a Novotel residence hotel, but the reviews were bad because of the location. There are places you can rent that aren't a teeny tiny room, where you can spend a few more dollars, get a little more space with at least coffee making facilities, a tub instead of just shower, and some chairs to sit in. Thx.
