Visiting Harvard really interested me, as I was very aware of the fact that Harvard is ranked as the best university in the world and has been the home of many of history’s important individuals, from US presidents to the founder of Facebook. To go back to university, specifically the idea of studying among the intellectual elite of the world, is something I very much desire.

Harvard gives a fascinating tour, simply because there's so much history on the campus. Tours, if I'm remembering correctly, are free and given several times a day. They'll lead you into Harvard yard and are almost entirely outdoors, so dress warmly if you go in winter. The tour at nearby MIT is just as interesting, thanks to the history there, and the plethora of impressive contemporary sculpture on the campus.
