WHO: Yellow Fever Booster no longer needed after 10 years
The World Health Organization (WHO) has revised their guidance regarding the Yellow Fever vaccine. Previously a booster shot was recommended 10 years after initial inoculation. Now the one shot is regarded as providing lifetime protection. They specifically state that a booster is not needed.
The US CDC page still shows the recommendation for a 10-year booster. I wonder how quickly the immigration people around the world who would ask for your yellow card will get the message...
